​THE SHY PRINCE AND THE DRAGON (2021) is a short fairy tale play for children's theatre with 9 characters. All of the the roles (apart from the Prince and the Princess) are non-gender specific.

​"Two knights, a pirate, a cowboy (or a cowgirl) and Superboy (or Supergirl) all fail to rescue a princess from a dragon. Will a shy, insecure, young prince succeed where they have failed?"

Previous productions of THE SHY PRINCE AND THE DRAGON include those by Perform Australia (a drama school in Fyshwick, Australia) in September 2022, Kingwood Park High School SpEd Theater in Humble, Texas in May 2023, the Cherokee Civic Youth Theatre in Rusk, Texas in July 2023, the Fuxue International Academy in China December 2023, the Bemidji Community Theatre in Minnesota in June 2024 and the TWV Academy in West Virginia, USA in October 2024. It was most recently performed by Owensboro Middle School Theatre in Kentucky, USA in February 2025.
