Winner of the 2021 Spelthorne & Runnymede Virtual Drama Festival GONE (2018 version) is a 20 minute play with more than a hint of mystery. It has 4 characters (2F, 2M) and was premiered at Live Theatre, Newcastle on 2 September 2010 (as one of the winning plays in Live's ONE MILLION SHORT CUTS prestigious play writing competition) under the billing "George's wife is missing. He knows where she went, but not where she is. Dare he tell the truth to anyone?" GONE was also a winning play in the Southampton Maskers Theatre's 2010 play writing competition FAMOUS FOR FIFTEEN. It has enjoyed subsequent further productions in the UK and various countries including the USA, Spain, Australia and India. GONE (temporarily re-titled Pyrrha Rebooted) was shortlisted for performance at Off The Cliff Theatre's 2017 Metamorphoses Festival. An updated version of GONE (again re-titled Pyrrha Rebooted) was performed by NEW DREAMS THEATRE at The Bread and Roses Theatre, Clapham, South London on 11 & 12 March 2018 as part of their TIME FOR SOMETHING NEW new writing event. The updated 2018 version (reverting to its original title of GONE) was re-published by Lazy Bee Scripts on 20 December 2018 and was most recently performed on stage by the Chesham Bois Catholic Players in September 2019. Didcot Phoenix Drama Group's 2021 filmed production of GONE won "Best Play" and 2 other awards at the Spelthorne and Runnymede Virtual Drama Festival in October 2021.
