THE BLUE (2021) is a short dramatic duologue (1F, 1M) about drone warfare. "In a desperate attempt to get back what she has lost, a former US military pilot spends her working week sitting in an air-conditioned trailer in Las Vegas killing people with drones. Did she succeed and if so at what cost to herself and her family?"

THE BLUE is a 2021 re-imagined version of Jonathan's short play that was first performed as a rehearsed reading at The Point, Eastleigh in 2014. The 2021 version was published by Lazy Bee Scripts on 10 May 2021 and will be premiered at The Salisbury Fringe Festival on 16 October 2021.
