ALTERNATE REALITY (2022) is an 8-minute fantasy, sci-fi, comedy/drama with 2 characters (1F, 1M or F).  The script received an "Honourable Mention" from Scriptwriters & Co at one of their 2021 Scratch Nights and was performed on Zoom at a Salisbury Fringe Scratch Night prior to its publication by Lazy Bee Scripts in 2022. 

ALTERNATE REALITY was subsequently short-listed for Short+Sweet Sydney 2022 and Short+Sweet Dubai 2023 before being selected for production at Short+Sweet Hollywood 2024. The first Short+Sweet Hollywood 2024 performances of ALTERNATE REALITY took place at the Victory Theater, Burbank, LA on 24 and 25 May 2024 and the next on 7 June (as one of the selected semi-finalists)! Sadly Jonathan's play just failed to make the finals but getting to the semi-finals of "the biggest short play festival in the world" out of over 1,400 submissions was a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to the director Carmelita Maldonado, actors Adriana Leon and Chrissi Erickson and everyone else involved! ❤
